About Cultiv
A conversation widget on an estate agency website captures and qualifies homeowners. The CRM behind it carries that lead through follow-up, valuation and visits, to a signed mandate. Agents live in that CRM: it is open from the moment they arrive until they close.
The platform is Next.js and TypeScript on MongoDB, running on AWS, with Microsoft Graph for mail and calendar and Twilio for WhatsApp. Agencies in Belgium and France use it daily.
The role
You build the surfaces agents work in: the pipeline board, the valuation wizard, the report generator, the inbox that pulls email, WhatsApp and calls into one thread. Next.js and TypeScript in front, API routes and MongoDB behind, AWS underneath. Most of the foundations already exist, so reading comes before writing more often than it would on a new codebase.
What you’ll do
- Ship features end to end: interface, API route, data model, and the migration that comes with them.
- Work on the report generator, which turns a template into a branded PDF valuation report per agency. It is the part of the product our clients hand to their own customers.
- Keep the app quick. It stays open all day, and a pipeline board carries thousands of leads per agency.
- Integrate what agencies already run on: Microsoft Graph for mail and calendar, Twilio for WhatsApp, portals for listings.
- Fix things you did not build. Some of this code is years old and still load-bearing.

📈Experience & background
- A year or more shipping software to people who complain when it breaks.
- You have owned a feature past its launch, not only up to it.
- Computer science, engineering, or the projects to show for it.
- English is enough to work here. Dutch or French helps you read what our users actually write.
💻Technical skills
- TypeScript and React, ideally with the Next.js App Router. Server components are not optional here.
- MongoDB, and the instinct to work out why a query got slow. We run on DocumentDB, which is Mongo-compatible right up until it is not.
- You have operated something on AWS, not only deployed it.
- An eye for interface detail. Half this product is tables, and tables are easy to get wrong.
- LLM APIs are a plus rather than a requirement. There is as much AI work available as you want.
